The 16th JOY of Christmas...Visions of Sugar Plums

JOY is a taste of all the talented people that drop by with tantalizing sweets and the shelves that a are laced with chocolate and candy...chocolate fudge...white chocolate covered popcorn...English Toffee...peanut brittle...peppermint kisses...

Frozen with Delight

It all started out at the Maverick with a whipped, frozen strawberry yogurt. It was delightfully smooth and creamy. JOY is discovering a treat I can feel good about. Since Strawberry, I have drooled over Rootbeer, Cheesecake and most recently Pumpkin.
Hilarious is that it comes in two sizes and two prices. You can put as much yogurt as your cup can hold and I have seen some pretty amazing swirls...It is a JOY to eat and every bit as much to watch others pile theirs high!

Dessert First

I have heard it said, "Dessert First." We had our "Dessert First" in a unique way. As we walked through the Grand America, it was elegant and classy. I was grateful for all the hard work and creativity that the Grand America portrayed as it added to it's aesthetic appeal. There were beautifully ornamented Christmas Trees and decorations. Then there was the sweet shop, too darling to pass up. There was an element of JOY in visiting La Bonne Vie arrayed in all it's colors and sweet aromas. The gourmet candy, cakes, chocolates appeared delicious, but I hesitated to purchase anything and risk ruining their glorious display. JOY is being able to taste with my eyes.
