The 18th JOY of Christmas...Singing Christmas Praises

Christmas Music brings me so much JOY. The day after Halloween, I plug in the Christmas CD's and tune into FM100.3...plenty of time to hear and sing praises to my Lord and then to "repeat the sounding JOY."

JOY is having ears to hear and reasons to sing.

Faith No More

I was asked to substitute in Noah's class in Primary. I needed this lesson to serve as a reminder to have faith in the Lord, Jesus Christ. I do have faith...but I want the kind of faith that the Brother of Jared had. He not only saw the finger of the Lord, but because of his great faith and belief in Jesus' words, was permitted to stand in the presence of the Lord. He did not need faith now for he had a perfect knowledge. JOY is knowing that if I earnestly seek the Lord's assistance, He will answer my prayers or guide me to the solutions for my challenges. Truthfully, I can hardly wait to put this principle to the test.

Small and Simple Things

Faith is the subject of things hoped for and not seen...like money to pay off a debt? Peace? Talents? JOY is knowing I do not have to see everything for me to believe.

What small and simple things must I be about? What great things can come from my simple mind? There is JOY in knowing I do not have to be rich and famous to do great things.
